Meanwhile, the Pacific Northwest is also affected, with Portland potentially breaking its October 4 record of 84°F (29°C). In contrast, the Southeast U.S. faces excessive rainfall, with the Gulf Coast under a Coastal Flood Advisory, Flood Watch, and Rip Current Statement. Coastal areas could see 3–6 inches (76–152 mm) of rain, with inland areas receiving 1–3 inches (25–76 mm). There is a slight chance of rainfall exceeding 10 inches (254 mm) through Monday morning.
