Ynyshir Restaurant Restores Five-Star Hygiene Rating After Previous Setback
Ynyshir Restaurant, a two-Michelin-star establishment in Wales, has regained its five-star food hygiene rating following a previous one-star inspection. The initial low rating was due to issues such as flies, broken equipment, and a dirty knife, which led to a temporary halt in serving certain dishes. Chef Gareth Ward, who runs the restaurant, addressed these concerns, resulting in a successful re-inspection by Ceredigion council. The restaurant, known for its Japanese-inspired tasting menu, had previously criticized inspectors for not understanding its specialized procedures.
