Ohio State Fair to Feature New Food Hall Showcasing Local Cuisine and History
The Ohio State Fair is set to introduce a new food hall, the Ohio Showcase Building, at the 2026 event. This new addition will feature six Columbus-area restaurants, including Schmidt's Sausage Haus and The Cheesecake Girl, offering a variety of local flavors. The building will also house an interactive exhibit on Ohio's history, including a replica of the Wright Brothers' 1905 Wright Flyer III. The food hall aims to provide visitors with a taste of local cuisine and a deeper understanding of Ohio's unique contributions to history. The Ohio Showcase Building will be open from July 29 to August 9, 2026, at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds.
