York Fair Implements Clear Bag Policy for Concert Safety
The York Fair has introduced a clear bag policy for its concerts to enhance safety and security for attendees. This new regulation requires concert-goers to use clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that are no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", or a small clutch. The policy aims to streamline security checks and ensure a safe environment for everyone enjoying the musical performances. While the change requires adaptation from attendees, the fair emphasizes that clear bags are readily available at sporting goods stores and online, and can also offer convenience by making it easier to locate items. Exceptions to the clear bag rule are made for medical necessities or diaper bags, though attendees are advised to confirm details with fair staff beforehand.
