Georgia Senate Candidate Tracy Wheeler and Family Arrested After Restaurant Confrontations
Tracy Wheeler, a Republican candidate for the Georgia Senate, along with her husband Troy Wheeler and their son Mitchell Wheeler, have been arrested on charges of aggravated assault following incidents at a restaurant in Hancock County. Tracy Wheeler is accused of pointing a gun at two individuals during a dispute over a broken air-conditioning system at Amigos Cove. The incidents, which occurred in June and July, have also led to a civil lawsuit concerning the ownership of the restaurant. Tracy Wheeler claims equal ownership with co-owner Roderico 'Mickey' Saenz Martinez, who alleges he owns 70% of the establishment. The Wheeler family is also facing charges related to a separate altercation on July 4, where Troy and Mitchell Wheeler allegedly assaulted the restaurant's general manager, Victor Ochoa.
