Ann Arbor Police Search for Suspects in Attempted Armed Robbery at Stamp and Coin Store
Ann Arbor police are actively searching for two individuals involved in an attempted armed robbery at a stamp and coin store. The incident occurred last Thursday during the day at a strip mall. According to the store owner, one of the suspects called the day before, claiming he and his wife would visit to look at gold coins. On the day of the incident, the man arrived and waited for hours, stating his wife was on her way. Instead of his wife, a young man in a tan hoodie and backpack appeared. This individual then pulled out a gun and pointed it at an employee, demanding they put their hands up. An armed clerk responded by firing a warning shot, causing both suspects to flee the scene in a car. Police have released an image of one of the men and are continuing their investigation.
