Georgia DOT Appoints Hiral Patel and Tim Matthews to Key Leadership Roles
The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) has announced two significant leadership appointments. Hiral Patel, PE, has been named Deputy Chief Engineer, and Tim Matthews, PE, has been appointed Public Private Partnership (P3) Division Director. Georgia DOT Commissioner Russell R. McMurry, PE, praised both individuals for their long-standing commitment to improving transportation in the state, citing their expertise, experience, and dedication. Patel brings over 30 years of experience with the department, having served in various leadership capacities, including Area Engineer, Assistant Administrator for Program Delivery, Administrator of Environmental Services, and Director of Engineering.
