14-Year-Old Girl Charged in Lebanon, Maine Shooting Incident
A 14-year-old girl has been charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Lebanon, Maine, on Saturday. She has been taken to the Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland. Due to her age, her name has not been released. This charge follows the earlier arrest of Zachary Shaw, 19, of Sanford, who was also charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and criminal mischief in relation to the same incident. The York County Sheriff's Office reported that a man called for help around 2 a.m. on Saturday, stating that someone in another vehicle had fired multiple shots at his car on Route 202. At least one shot penetrated the driver's side door, and other shots hit the tires, causing the vehicle to stop. The driver of the shot vehicle was not injured. Police recovered the weapon used in the shooting on Saturday.
