Massive Oak Branch Crashes onto Atlanta Home Amid Heavy Rain
In Atlanta, Georgia, a large oak tree branch fell onto a home on Benjamin E. Mays Drive SW early Sunday morning, startling a resident who was asleep with a CPAP and oxygen machine running. The incident occurred following days of frequent rain, which may have contributed to the tree's collapse. Three people were inside the home at the time, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. The falling branch caused damage to a car parked in the driveway and knocked out power to the home, raising concerns about food spoilage due to the outage.
