Florida Authorities Pursue Trio Accused of Cemetery Thefts Across Nine States
Authorities in Florida are actively searching for three individuals accused of stealing family heirlooms and valuables from cemeteries across at least nine states. The suspects, identified as Porsche Bancroft, her boyfriend Drake Lee Milam, and her mother Angela Garrett, are believed to have targeted niches and mausoleums during their alleged crime spree. Corporal Cole Brazee of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office stated that the trio, hailing from Indianapolis, embarked on a 'tour of the eastern half of the United States,' committing thefts in multiple states including Oklahoma, Minnesota, Texas, Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, and New York. Arrest warrants have been issued for the suspects, who are to be extradited to Florida to face charges. The investigation currently involves 20 cases in Florida, with the possibility of more victims yet to be identified. The Central Florida Crimeline is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
