Senate Democrats Allocate $40 Million for Battleground States Ahead of Midterms
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has announced a $40 million investment in organizing, research, and voter connection efforts as the midterm elections approach. This initiative, named 'Win The Senate,' targets key battleground states including Ohio, Alaska, Maine, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire, and Georgia. The funds will focus on grassroots movements and engaging minority groups, rather than purchasing advertisements. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand emphasized the importance of this strategy in expanding the battleground map and creating pathways to a Senate majority.
