Intermountain Health to Open New Medical Campus in West Valley City, Utah

Intermountain Health has announced plans to transform the nine-story Fairbourne Building in West Valley City, Utah, into a comprehensive medical campus. Additional planned services encompass advanced imaging, laboratory and pharmacy support, ambulatory and surgical care, endoscopy, orthopedics, rheumatology, rehabilitation, and various specialty physician clinics. Flood Watches Issued from Phoenix to Dallas

Remnants of Hurricane Polo are driving a widespread flood threat across the U.S., stretching from the Southwest to the Midwest. Heavy rainfall has already triggered flash flooding in Utah and Nevada, according to Marc Chenard of the U.S. Weather Prediction Center. Tropical moisture from Polo is combining with a Pacific low-pressure system, creating conditions for torrential rain over the next three days. Flood watches are in effect for areas including Phoenix, Arizona, and Dallas, Texas. The Weather Prediction Center has issued a moderate risk (level 3 of 4) for excessive rainfall in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Kansas.
