Jamaica Unveils 10x10x10 Tourism Vision to Boost Visitor Numbers and Revenue
Jamaica has launched its new 10x10x10 Tourism Vision, a long-term strategic plan designed to attract 10 million annual visitors and generate US$10 billion in tourism earnings over the next decade. This announcement was made by Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, as the country continues its recovery and expansion efforts in the tourism sector. In the first quarter of the current year, Jamaica welcomed over one million visitors and achieved US$956 million in tourism revenue. The country has also successfully restored approximately 80 percent of its hotel room inventory following Hurricane Melissa, with full operational capacity anticipated by early 2027.
