FDIC Headquarters and Virginia Square Campus Offer Extensive Facilities for Employees and Banking Agencies
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) maintains its headquarters in Washington, D.C., complemented by a significant multi-building campus in Arlington, Virginia, known as the Virginia Square campus. This campus, which includes the L. William Seidman Center, is situated on 9.5 acres and provides a range of amenities for FDIC employees and state banking agencies. These facilities include a fitness center, a cafeteria, two large auditoriums, and classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art audio/visual resources. Additionally, the Virginia Square campus features a 350-room extended-stay style residence center, catering to students and instructors attending classes there. Both the Washington D.C. headquarters and the Virginia Square campus are utilized for training, meetings, and corporate events, with the Arlington campus being easily accessible via public transportation at the Virginia Square Metro stop on the Orange Line.
