Tractor-Trailer Crash on New York State Thruway Causes Traffic Disruptions
A dramatic incident occurred on the New York State Thruway in Nyack when a tractor-trailer struck an overpass and overturned. The crash took place shortly after noon on the southbound side near mile marker 16.4. Dashcam footage captured the moment the vehicle hit the overpass before flipping onto its side. The driver, a 50-year-old man from South Carolina, was involved in the accident, but no serious injuries were reported. Emergency crews responded promptly, impacting traffic flow in the area. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
