Utah Man Dies During Booking at Wyoming Jail
Tyson J. Alvares, a 38-year-old man from Smithfield, Utah, died after collapsing in a holding cell at the Lincoln County Jail in Wyoming. Alvares was arrested at the Oyster Ridge Music Festival on charges including possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct. During the booking process, he collapsed and was found not breathing by detention officers, who attempted life-saving measures without success. The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation is now investigating the in-custody death.
