California Fire Foundation and PG&E Foundation Award $1 Million in Wildfire Safety Grants
The California Fire Foundation (CFF) and the PG&E Corporation Foundation have awarded $1 million in wildfire safety grants to 75 local fire departments, fire agencies, and nonprofit organizations across Northern and Central California. This initiative is part of their broader 2026 Wildfire Safety and Preparedness Program, which receives $1.8 million in charitable funding. The grants aim to bolster disaster preparedness and response programs, particularly as California faces a year-round wildfire season. This marks the ninth year of partnership between CFF and the PG&E Foundation, with an additional $50,000 committed this year to enhance the grant program.
