Fishers Hosts First 'Mass Deportation' Rally Amid Counter-Protests
A rally billed as the nation's first 'mass deportation' event is set to take place in Fishers, Indiana, headlined by former U.S. Border Patrol official Greg Bovino. The event, organized by Save Heritage Indiana, aims to advocate for stricter immigration enforcement. The rally is expected to feature video appearances from state officials and is sold out, though the location remains undisclosed. In response, a counter-protest called the Hoosier Hospitality March is planned, organized by various community groups to oppose the rally and raise awareness about local immigration detention centers. The counter-protest will include a vigil for those who have died in immigration custody.
