The half-hour program, hosted by ABC News correspondents Gio Benitez and Ashan Singh, airs weekdays on ABC News Live, which is available on Disney Plus and Hulu. Although recently announced, 'Searched' began airing in April. According to ABC News, the show utilizes real-time data from top search engines and social media platforms to deliver topical news to its audience. Recent episodes have covered diverse subjects such as an Illinois Powerball winner, NBA star Russell Westbrook’s retirement, and Tropical Storm Lala. This initiative is part of ABC News Live's expanded programming, which also includes 'All Access with Linsey Davis,' 'Burden of Proof,' and 'Doctor’s Note,' reflecting a broader strategy to adapt to changing news consumption habits as broadcast TV viewing declines and more people turn to digital platforms for news.
