Man Arrested in Boyd County, Kentucky Gas Station Robbery

A man has been arrested in connection with a reported gas station robbery in Boyd County, Kentucky. Deputies responded to a call of a robbery in progress at the goodstop by Casey's on U.S. Route 60 and Meade Springer Road in Ashland on Friday evening. Following a search and neighborhood canvass, 32-year-old Antonio Roan of Ashland was located at a nearby residence and taken into custody. Further investigation revealed that Roan was allegedly involved in a similar robbery at the same gas station on September 26. As a result, Roan has been charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, one for each incident. He is currently being held at the Boyd County Detention Center. Authorities are requesting any security or doorbell camera footage from the vicinity of the gas station, Meade Springer Road, and adjoining neighborhoods to assist with the ongoing investigation.

Santa Fe Police Arrest Burglary Suspect Johnny M. Anaya After Drone Pursuit

Johnny M. Anaya has been taken into custody by Santa Fe police after being caught attempting to burglarize a storage facility. Officers responded to a call regarding a suspicious person at Santa Fe Self Storage on Agua Fria Street around 4 a.m. on a Sunday. Upon arrival, police located the 37-year-old Anaya on the property, actively using a dolly to transport boxes to an adjacent property. As law enforcement deployed a drone to track his movements, Anaya reportedly attempted to flee the scene. However, he was subsequently apprehended and arrested. At the time of his arrest, Anaya was found to be in possession of bolt cutters and a screwdriver, tools commonly associated with burglaries. He has been charged with burglary, criminal damage to property, possession of burglary tools, and resisting, evading, or obstructing a police officer. Anaya is currently being held at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
