One Fatality Reported in I-90 Crash; Driver Fled Scene and Apprehended
One person died following a serious motor vehicle crash on Interstate 90 early Sunday morning, according to the Bratenahl Police Department. The incident occurred around 1:13 a.m. near Eddy Road and involved a car and a motorcycle. A 55-year-old motorcyclist, identified as a Euclid resident, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, a 31-year-old Cleveland man, initially fled the accident site but was located and taken into custody by police shortly after. Charges are pending in Cleveland Municipal Court, with anticipated charges including aggravated vehicular homicide, stopping after an accident, and operating a vehicle under the influence.
