ICC Sydney Introduces Aspect Accredited Quiet Room for Neurodivergent Guests
The International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney has launched a permanent Quiet Room, accredited by Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia), to support neurodivergent guests and others who may experience sensory overload. Opened on July 28, 2026, this facility is designed to provide a calm environment with soft lighting and minimal stimulation, accommodating up to four people at a time. The Quiet Room is part of ICC Sydney's broader accessibility suite, which includes a Visual Story and Sensory Map to help visitors navigate the venue. This initiative is part of the venue's Disability Inclusion Action Plan, aiming to make large events more accessible and comfortable for all attendees.
