Four Former Western University Students Face New Charges in Explosives Case
Four individuals, previously students or recent graduates of Western University in London, Ontario, are facing 19 new charges related to an explosives and firearms manufacturing investigation. The accused, Jerry Tong, Zekun (Alex) Wang, Fei (Frank) Han, and Feiyang (Astrid) Ji, were initially charged in January. The new charges include possession of explosive substances, stolen property, and unauthorized access to computer data for firearm manufacturing. The investigation began after a trespassing incident at Western University led police to a residence where the accused were found. The case has expanded to include charges in other cities, with Tong facing the majority of charges. Two of the accused are out on bail, while the other two remain in custody.
