Colorado Health Officials Issue Measles Exposure Warning in Denver and Steamboat Springs
Officials from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) have issued a public alert regarding potential measles exposure in Denver and Steamboat Springs. This warning follows a confirmed case of measles in an unvaccinated out-of-state visitor earlier this week. The identified exposure locations include Denver Union Station (1701 Wynkoop Street, Denver) on September 15, from 6-9 p.m., and La Quinta Inn (3155 Ingles Lane, Steamboat Springs) on September 16, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Individuals who were present at these locations during the specified times may have been exposed to the highly contagious virus. Symptoms for those exposed at Union Station may develop through October 6, and for La Quinta Inn, through October 7.
