Georgetown University Ranks 23rd in Annual US News College Rankings
Georgetown University has been ranked 23rd in the annual US News college rankings, as announced early Tuesday morning. This marks a slight improvement from its 24th position in the previous year's survey. The university has consistently maintained a spot within the Top 25 rankings every year since 1988. Other notable universities in the top 25 include MIT at 1st, Princeton at 2nd, and Harvard at 3rd. Within the Big East conference, Georgetown is one of only four universities to be ranked nationally in the top 100, alongside Villanova (42nd), Connecticut (73rd), Marquette (90th), and Creighton (100th). Local schools such as Maryland (49th), George Washington (59th), Howard (73rd), American (95th), and George Mason (121st) also received rankings.
