OC Nonprofit Faces Setback as Trailer with Camp Supplies Stolen Before Annual Event
A nonprofit organization in Orange County, Camp Agape California, is facing a significant challenge after a trailer filled with supplies for their annual camp was stolen. The camp, which takes place every Labor Day weekend, serves over 200 children affected by a parent's incarceration, providing them with a supportive environment and positive mentorship. The stolen trailer contained essential camp supplies, games, and equipment crucial for creating a welcoming experience for the children. Despite this setback, the camp's founder, Jon Vallejo, expressed determination to proceed with the event and is seeking community assistance to recover the stolen items and replace the lost supplies.
