PACE Initiative Launched to Enhance Malaysia's Workforce Skills with RM100 Million Allocation
The Ministry of Human Resources in Malaysia has announced the launch of the Progressive Acceleration for Capability and Employability (PACE) initiative, with a funding allocation of RM100 million. This initiative, spearheaded by Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan, aims to bolster human capital development and improve the employability of the Malaysian workforce. Implemented through the Human Resource Development Corporation, PACE is designed to align workforce skills with current and future industry demands, thereby enhancing Malaysia's global competitiveness. The initiative will introduce ten strategic programs focusing on areas such as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), youth talent development, digital economy transformation, and the employability of gig workers. The program is part of the Malaysia Madani aspiration to empower human development and improve living standards through quality employment.
