The Pacific hurricane season remains highly active, with Hurricane Polo and Hurricane Odalys currently churning in the region. Hurricane Polo, which briefly reached Category 5 strength, is now a Category 4 storm tracking parallel to Mexico's coastline. It is expected to pass dangerously close to Baja California without making landfall. Meanwhile, Hurricane Odalys, a Category 1 storm, is moving westward over the Pacific and is not expected to impact land. Tropical Storm Nolo is also developing south of Hawaii and is forecast to strengthen into a Category 3 hurricane later this week.
