France Investigates Teenage Suspect in Massive ID Data Breach
The Paris prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into a 15-year-old suspect accused of hacking France's ID agency and attempting to sell millions of citizens' data on the dark web. The suspect, known by the alias 'breach3d', allegedly put between 12 million and 18 million lines of stolen data up for sale. The agency involved, ANTS, confirmed the authenticity of the data and reported unusual network activity. The breach has raised concerns about the security of centralized data storage in France.
