Memphis School Employee Arrested for Stabbing Delivery Driver with Pen
Braxton Stewart, a 36-year-old employee of Memphis-Shelby County Schools, has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing a delivery driver multiple times with a pen. The incident occurred on Thursday morning at American Way Middle School in Memphis, Tennessee. According to court documents and Memphis police, the altercation began when the victim, a delivery driver, arrived late for a delivery, leading to a heated argument with Stewart. The dispute escalated into a physical fight, during which Stewart reportedly used a pen to stab the driver at least six times. The driver sustained four puncture wounds to his back, one to his neck, and one between his eyes. He was transported to a local hospital and is in non-critical condition. Memphis-Shelby County Schools has not yet commented on the incident.
