Vietnam Red Cross and GTEL Collaborate to Launch National Digital Humanitarian Platform
The Vietnam Red Cross and GTEL, a technology company under the Ministry of Public Security, have partnered to develop a National Digital Humanitarian Platform. This collaboration aims to modernize emergency management, coordination, and response efforts in Vietnam. The platform will integrate digital databases to connect information on individuals needing assistance, donors, and a nationwide network of volunteers. A key feature is the application of advanced data management technology to ensure transparency in fund disbursement and relief supply distribution, aiming to prevent errors and build community trust. The system is also designed to optimize the coordination of emergency relief resources during natural disasters, epidemics, or other significant incidents.
