Minneapolis Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash in Minden Township
A 66-year-old Minneapolis man, Mark Cady, died following a motorcycle crash in Minden Township, near St. Cloud, Minnesota. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon at the intersection of 35th Avenue SE and 2nd Street SE. According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, Cady was traveling south on 35th Avenue when he failed to stop at a posted stop sign. His motorcycle was then broadsided by a minivan driven by 46-year-old Ahmed Mohamud Haji Isse of St. Cloud, who was traveling west on 2nd Street. Deputies and first responders attempted life-saving measures, but Cady succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver of the minivan and its five passengers were not injured in the collision. The Benton County Sheriff's Office is continuing its investigation into the crash.
