Urban League Report Criticizes Trump Administration for DEI Rollbacks Impacting Black Americans

The report criticizes the rollback of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and economic advancement projects, which it claims are reversing progress made during the Biden administration. The report also points to the overhaul of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as examples of these rollbacks. The Urban League calls for civil rights groups to consolidate legal resistance and build economic infrastructure independent of government support.
