A planned water-recycling facility intended to cool xAI's data center in South Memphis has been indefinitely paused, according to a company spokesperson. In the arts sector, Indie Memphis has appointed Brandon Harris as the new artistic director for its 2026 film festival, drawing from its past leadership.
