President Trump Scheduled for Medical Checkup Amid Health Speculations
President Donald Trump is set to undergo a medical and dental checkup at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on May 26, as announced by the White House. This visit marks his fourth publicized medical examination since resuming office. The checkup is part of his annual physical and regular preventive care. President Trump, who will turn 80 next month, has been the subject of significant public scrutiny regarding his health. Last year, he underwent imaging on his heart and abdomen, which led to public questions about his health status. Despite these concerns, Trump has expressed feeling as fit as he did 50 years ago, attributing his well-being to factors other than diet. His physician, Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella, reported that Trump was 20 pounds lighter than during a 2020 checkup. The president has also been managing chronic venous insufficiency, a condition common in older adults.
