ICE Agents Allegedly Use Disguises in Minnesota, Raising Public Concerns
In Minnesota, reports have emerged of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents allegedly using disguises to conduct operations, heightening public fears. Luis Ramirez, a restaurant owner in suburban Minneapolis, observed men dressed as utility workers outside his establishment. These individuals, suspected to be ICE agents, were seen wearing high-visibility vests and hard hats, and were reportedly using vehicles with fake tags. The Department of Homeland Security has not confirmed whether these men were federal officers. Such tactics, including posing as construction workers or delivery drivers, have been reported more frequently, contributing to a climate of distrust. Legal observers and advocacy groups, such as the American Civil Liberties Union, have expressed concerns over these methods, which they argue could undermine public trust and violate constitutional rights.
