Air Quality Alerts Issued in California and Colorado Due to Pollution
Air quality alerts have been issued across parts of southern California and southeastern Colorado due to hazardous levels of pollution from windblown dust and wildfire smoke. In California, areas such as the Coachella Valley and the San Gorgonio Pass are under alert until Monday morning, while the Imperial Valley faces a separate alert for blowing dust. In Colorado, an advisory for wildfire smoke affects several counties, including Bent and Prowers, until Sunday morning.
