American Woman Swept Away in Bahamas During Dinghy Ride
Lynette Hooker, a 55-year-old American woman, was reported missing after being swept away during a dinghy ride in the Bahamas. She was attempting to return to a yacht with her husband, Brian Hooker, when she fell overboard and was carried away by strong currents. The incident occurred while she was holding the boat key, which caused the engine to shut off. Her husband managed to paddle back to a marina and reported the incident, prompting a search and rescue mission. The U.S. State Department is aware of the situation and is collaborating with Bahamian authorities. Lynette's daughter, Karli Aylesworth, has called for a thorough investigation into her mother's disappearance, citing previous issues and a history of alleged violence by her husband.
