Massachusetts Woman Arrested for Allegedly Filming Jurors in Lindsay Clancy Trial
Dawn Light, a 56-year-old woman from Sutton, Massachusetts, was arrested outside Plymouth Superior Court for allegedly filming jurors in the Lindsay Clancy triple-murder trial. The arrest occurred on Tuesday afternoon, around 3:40 p.m., according to the Massachusetts State Police. While state police did not explicitly link the arrest to the Clancy trial, sources informed CBS Boston reporter Kristin Rex that an individual, not affiliated with the media, was apprehended for filming jurors. Jurors reportedly witnessed the filming taking place. Light is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday on one charge of intimidation of a witness, jurors, or person furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings. This incident unfolded as the jury in the Clancy trial, composed of nine women and three men, entered its 23rd hour of deliberations and had previously informed the judge they were deadlocked. Judge William Sullivan instructed the jury to continue deliberations despite the deadlock.
