Russia Allegedly Provides Iran with Israeli Energy Grid Targets, Raising Security Concerns
According to a report from The Jerusalem Post, Russian intelligence has allegedly provided Iran with a list of 55 critical energy infrastructure targets within Israel. This information, reportedly obtained from Ukrainian intelligence sources, suggests that the targets are categorized based on their strategic importance. The list includes critical production facilities, major urban and industrial energy hubs, and local infrastructure. The report highlights the deepening military and intelligence cooperation between Russia and Iran, enabling Iran to potentially launch precision missile strikes against Israel's energy grid. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed concerns about the growing Russia-Iran alliance, warning that the knowledge Russia has gained from the conflict in Ukraine is being exported to the Middle East.
