U.S. Fugitive Wanted for Homicide Arrested in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Antoni III Covarrubias, a 41-year-old U.S. citizen from Los Angeles, California, wanted for second-degree homicide in the United States, has been located and arrested in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The arrest was a collaborative effort between elements of the Jalisco State Police and U.S. Marshals Service. Information exchange between the two agencies indicated Covarrubias might be in Jalisco territory, prompting an investigation by the Jalisco Intelligence Commission to pinpoint his location.
