The Seeing Eye Honors Volunteers and Awards $55,000 in Scholarships to Puppy Raisers
The Seeing Eye, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing guide dogs for the blind, recently held its Family Day celebration, where it recognized the significant contributions of its volunteers and awarded college scholarships. During the event, four long-time puppy raisers were inducted into 'The Seeing Eye 21 Club' for having raised at least 21 Seeing Eye puppies. Additionally, the organization honored puppy raising club volunteers with an Outstanding Leader Award and two 40-Year Leader Awards. A total of 22 exceptional college-bound puppy raisers received scholarships amounting to $55,000. These scholarships were granted to students who have raised a minimum of two Seeing Eye puppies, demonstrated high academic achievement, and are actively involved in their communities.
