Poughkeepsie Motorcyclist Dies in High-Speed Crash with Trailer in Upstate New York
Felix A. Amaro Soriano, a 22-year-old man from Poughkeepsie, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Route 299 in the town of Lloyd, Ulster County, New York. The incident occurred on the night of June 1, 2026, when Soriano's motorcycle collided with the rear of an eastbound dump-style trailer. According to the New York State Police, Soriano was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash. The impact of the collision ejected him from the motorcycle. Despite being transported to a local hospital, Soriano was pronounced dead. The crash is currently under investigation, and authorities are seeking witnesses to the incident.
