Texas Man Involved in Secret Service Shootout Near White House
A suspect identified as Michael Marx, holding a Texas driver's license, was involved in a shootout with Secret Service agents near the White House. The incident occurred when plainclothes officers noticed Marx, who appeared to have a firearm, and alerted uniformed officers. Marx allegedly fired at the agents, who returned fire, resulting in Marx being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. A bystander, a minor, was also injured by a ricocheted bullet.
