Germany and Ukraine Sign Defense Memorandum to Enhance Missile and Drone Capabilities
Germany and Ukraine have entered into a defense cooperation agreement, focusing on missile deliveries, drone technology, and battlefield data exchange. The memorandum was signed by Ukraine's Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and German Minister Boris Pistorius, with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in attendance. The agreement includes joint projects analyzing German weapons systems such as the PzH 2000, RCH 155, and IRIS-T air defense system. Additionally, the memorandum facilitates the exchange of Ukrainian combat experience and data, granting partners access to Ukrainian digital systems like DELTA to enhance AI models and develop analytical solutions. The collaboration aims to strengthen Ukraine's defense against Russian aggression and enhance German and European defense capabilities.
