Blackburn Releases Internal Poll to Counter Rose's Momentum in Tennessee Governor's Race
Sen. Marsha Blackburn's campaign has released internal polling data showing her leading the Tennessee governor's race by 17 points, countering other polls that suggest a closer contest with U.S. Rep. John Rose. The internal poll, conducted by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, shows Blackburn with 42% support among likely Republican primary voters, compared to Rose's 25% and State Rep. Monty Fritts' 22%. This release comes after a poll by OnMessage Public Strategies indicated a much narrower gap, with Blackburn at 34.5% and Rose at 31%. The Blackburn campaign initially withheld their poll results but decided to release them following the publication of the more favorable poll for Rose.
