Virginia Bus Driver Faces Additional Charges After Fatal Crash
Jing Sheng Dong, a tour bus driver from Staten Island, New York, has been indicted on additional involuntary manslaughter charges following a crash in Virginia that resulted in five fatalities. The incident occurred on Interstate 95 in Stafford County when the bus, operated by E&P Travel, failed to slow down in a work zone, colliding with multiple vehicles. The crash claimed the lives of a family from Massachusetts and another individual, while injuring nearly four dozen others. Dong, who was also injured, faces up to 10 years in prison per manslaughter charge if convicted.
