Severe Storms Sweep From Plains to Southeast
Severe thunderstorms will target parts of the Great Plains and Southeast through Tuesday, bringing heavy downpours, hail, damaging wind gusts and flash flooding. On Monday, storms across the northern Plains could disrupt evening travel, while the Southeast faces an AccuWeather Local StormMax™ of 80 mph, with risks of flooded roads, downed trees and power outages. The threat continues Tuesday from Nebraska through Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle, with heavy rain, hail and strong winds possible.
