Tornado Causes Damage in Rural Paraná, Brazil
A tornado struck the rural area of Piraí do Sul in Paraná, Brazil, causing significant damage to properties. The storm, which formed between the municipalities of Telêmaco Borba, Tibagi, and Piraí do Sul, resulted in damage to homes, barns, and a pig farm. Trees and power lines were also downed, leading to power outages in some areas. The local Civil Defense is assessing the extent of the damage, but no injuries have been reported. Residents captured videos of the tornado, which have been confirmed by state agencies as consistent with tornado activity.
