Polish Authorities Charge Man in Neo-Nazi Plot to Attack School and Mosque, Citing Telegram Communications
Polish authorities have charged Pawel G., a Polish national born in 2009, with offenses including preparing attacks on a school and a mosque. His detention on Friday followed the earlier arrest of two 16-year-olds with whom he had communicated in extremist and neo-Nazi circles on Telegram and Discord. Poland's Internal Security Agency (ABW) stated that Pawel G. participated in discussions about past terrorist attacks, analyzing methods and viewing perpetrators as inspiration. Justice Minister Waldemar Zurek confirmed that the planned targets included a mosque and a school, emphasizing that there would be no leniency for fascism or the planning of violent attacks in Poland. Pawel G. could face up to 15 years in prison, while the two 16-year-olds, Kacper K. and Wiktor S., have been placed in juvenile detention centers.
